Product Description

Specialty textile inks engineered specifically for printing on nylon fabrics and other synthetic materials. Nylon inks are formulated with unique properties that ensure strong adhesion to smooth, non-porous surfaces, delivering durable and reliable prints on challenging substrates like nylon.

Feature

  • Great adhesion on non-porous substates.
  • Stretches with fabric without cracking.
  • Can resist abrasion and fading.
  • Water-resistant
  • Produces vivid colors, bright and sharp.
  • Versatile material compatibility.

Application and Material Compatibility

  • Umbrellas
  • Travel bags
  • Sport bags
  • Sportswear
  • Windbreakers
  • Jackets
  • Genuine leather materials
  • Synthetic leather

Additives/Auxiliary

Nylon Reducer
Functions as a diluting agent when the ink becomes thick or viscous and serves as a cleaning agent for the screen throughout the production process.

Nylon Catalyst
Added to enhance the adhesion of nylon ink to the substrate or material if the ink fails to bond effectively.

Use the ink within 24 hours after adding the Nylon Catalyst to the mixture.

Screen Mesh and Squeegee

150T – 420T, monofilament

A higher mesh count is recommended for smaller prints; the finer the details, the higher the mesh count should be. Ensure proper tension and stretch to achieve sharper, more precise print results.

Squeegee

  • Hard (80-90 durometer)
    Square (straight edge)

Recommended Curing Parameters

Drying Time: 24 hours

Method: Air dry with proper ventilation

Environment: 20°C - 30°C (68°F - 86°F)

  • Relative Humidity: 40% - 60%

Clean-Up

Apply the solvent cleaner to a clean cloth or wipe and then gently wipe the screen and other tools used to dissolve and remove ink residues. Repeat this process until the materials used are clean.

Product Safety, Handling and Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Keep containers tightly shut to prevent evaporation and contamination.

General Considerations

During stencil art exposure, it is best to use solvent-resistant stencil emulsion, Photo Flash SRK.

Provide at least 1mm of off-contact for the frame to the substrate or material to achieve a good quality print. Adjust off-contact if necessary.

Allow a curing period of 24 hours for the ink to properly adhere to the substrate or material before conducting any scratch or rub tests to evaluate quality and adhesion.
