Screen Mesh
Screen Mesh
Product Description
Screen mesh, a woven fabric used in screen printing to hold stencil designs and allow ink to pass through onto a substrate. It is available in different colors, most commonly white and yellow (also known as dyed mesh). Both types serve the same functional purpose but differ in how they affect image resolution and exposure.
White Mesh:
- Undyed, natural mesh color
- Tends to scatter light more during exposure
- Suitable for lower-detail prints or coarser mesh counts
- Common in general-purpose or beginner setups
Yellow Mesh (Dyed Mesh):
- Dyed to reduce light scatter during exposure
- Allows for sharper stencils and finer detail
- Preferred for high-resolution prints and finer mesh counts
- Offers more precise control over exposure times
Product Safety, Handling and Storage
Product Safety, Handling and Storage
Avoid creasing, stretching, or folding the mesh to maintain uniform tension and weave integrity. Store mesh rolls or stretched frames in a clean, dry environment away from direct sunlight and moisture. For dyed mesh (yellow), avoid prolonged exposure to UV light to preserve color integrity and performance during the exposure process.
